DocsYour banner
Policy links
The links your banner shows to visitors who want the detail: your privacy policy, cookie policy and Impressum.
We recommend
Set at least your privacy policy.
Visitors should be able to read what they are agreeing to. When the scan finds your privacy policy or Impressum page and you haven't set one, we fill it in and mark it.
You don't need to change this if the Banner page already shows your privacy policy link.
When you'd choose otherwise
- Leave the cookie policy empty if one document covers both: the banner then links your privacy policy.
- Leave the Impressum empty if you have no visitors under German law. Only they see it.
- Left empty, the privacy policy link just isn't shown. The banner still works.
- A link is part of what visitors agreed to, so changing one starts a new banner version in History.

- Germany
- Privacy and cookie policy, and your Impressum.
- California
- As the UK, inside the privacy choices panel.
